As we are now preparing for Fashion Technology Forum, which is going to be the biggest event of that kind in Ukraine and is of vital importance for representatives of local fashion industry, I’ve decided to visit Decoded Fashion summit in Milan on 15thand 16th of November. Decoded Fashion is the top international event for fashion insiders and decision-makers, which was created to connect us – fashion, beauty and retail professionals – with technology companies, both emerging and established.
This invitation made me really excited as I had an opportunity to meet the most prominent investors and spokesman of global companies like Farfetch, Google and Net-a-Porter. They are coming to Fashion Technology Forum in Kiev soon too so we’ll have an opportunity to discuss their interests and future collaborations of fashion and technology spheres. Decoded Fashion, gave me enough relevant information and news for the topics we are going to discuss at the Forum in Kiev. My favourite speakers at Decoded fashion were designer Paula Cademartori, Julie Pellet (brand-development lead for Southern Europe at Instagram), Gabriele Lunati (worldwide digital and e-commerce director at Moncler) and many others. Round tables were useful too, with aspects including development of online-communities, most disruptive fashion trends of upcoming 12 months and driving online sales through tech innovations being discussed.
Of course, I have combined educational and networking plans with meeting of our long-lasting colleagues and partners in Milan, buyers and editors.
