My first day at Milan Fashion Week

by
Today was my first entire day at Milan Fashion Week. I started it with a couple of meetings – one of those was at Ermanno Scervino, and in this special video you can see how I was choosing my look for their upcoming show on Saturday.

Afterwards I attended Anna K presentation, the youngest and one of the most successful designers from Ukraine, who just had her show at New York Fashion Week and continued with a presentation at Milano Moda Donna. Then I moved back to the show schedule – first, I did an Alberta Ferretti show, whose new collection was a nod to her DNA and was full of statement looks, where I really loved the minimalistic part, and especially the long beige silk dress and two suits.

Afterwards I saw the beautiful N21 show (one of my most favorite in Milan, always) and went to the very important Vogue Talents event, where the team of the magazine and YOOX presents and promotes a number of new, young and talented designers who are worth to watch. It’s a very meaningful event for Milan Fashion Week, full of big names, where despite the crazy schedule we all find time to pay attention to the newer generation of fashion creatives. I was especially happy to see two Eastern-European designers in the selection this season – Paskal and Anouki. Both will be soon showing their collections in Paris, Paskal with her first runway show on the 9th, and Anouki in More Dash showroom at 21, rue du Bourg Tibourg.
