MY #NYFW: 3 shows worth to remember

by

I already shared with you my experince with Anna K show in New York – and today I want to tell about my favourite collections at New York Fashion Week.

As I already mentioned, I wasn’t attending events before Anna K show on Monday 12PM, and as soon as we did it, I was free to visit all my favourite shows.

Jeremy Scott, “The People’s designer” as he calls himself on Instagram, is a quintessentially American brand. I love that he always makes fun of fashion and masterfully reworks the stereotypes of pop culture. The new collection was called “Cowboys and Poodles”, and was all about fun colours, prints and playful details.

One of my biggest icons in American fashion is Tory Burch. Undoubtedly, she is an example of hard working woman, whose success story inspires me to develop my career further. I love the simplicity, eternal style and mindfulness of her collections. Tory’s signature bohemian aesthetic won her millions of admirers, and I am among them. One of my favorite looks from Tory’s new collection is  a silver lame suit.

The only show I regret I missed is Marc Jacobs. I knew I was leaving New York couple of days before the end of the fashion week, so I did not plan to be in town. Anyway, his statement collection gave a rise towards the new trend of maximalism and galore, just after everyone agreed that fashion moved to minimal aesthetic. His show was definitely a key moment of New York Fashion Week.
